American Author Mark Tufts:
Mark was born in Abilene Texas, but has spent most of his life in and around the greater Spokane area in Eastern Washington.
He’s the proud father of two bright and beautiful teenage daughters, Amanda and Kayci, and currently resides in Southern Nevada with his wife, Donna, and their malingering Beagle, Mary Ann. An avid outdoorsman his whole life, he has hunted and hiked throughout the West, including the areas described in his stories.
On writing, Mark states:
I’ve been writing as long as I can remember, but only in the past three or four years have I allowed my passion for the written word to take on a life of its own. I consider myself an apprentice wordsmith and I learn so much more with each turn of the page.
As you read my fiction stories you’ll often note fact mixed with fantasy: what is, or has been, what could be, what should be, or in some cases, what I wish would be—my dreams—and in even others, my fears of what might be—my nightmares.
If I’ve done my job as a storyteller, you’ll find yourself wondering where the line between fact and fantasy fades away as you get caught up in my prose. If I’ve done my job well, my characters will come alive and you’ll feel something—hopefully many things—be it sadness, joy, anger, indignation, or any of the myriad emotions that make up our lives.
